Review: 

                   ‘Veere Di Wedding’ has been making the right noise ever since the cast was revealed. Kareena Kapoor Khan is all set to make her comeback into films post her pregnancy through this film. Helmed by Shashanka Ghosh, ‘Veere Di Wedding’ also stars Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhaskar, and Shikha Talsania. Sumeet Vyas of web series ‘Permanent Roommates’ fame, will be seen opposite Bebo. The movie marks Rhea Kapoor’s second attempt to ace the chick flick genre in Bollywood. The film will predominantly be shot in the capital city of Delhi and a few sequences in Bangkok. Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhaskar and Shikha Talsania starter ‘Veere Di Wedding’ is all set to hit the screens this Friday. The actors are promoting their film in full swing. The songs and the trailer of the film have also created a good amount of buzz among the audience.

Now according to a report by a tabloid, the choreographer of the song ‘Bhangra Ta Sajda’ had a tough time while shooting for the same and had to take even several retakes while filming the song. The reason behind this was Sonam K Ahuja’s long hands and legs.

During the music launch of the film, Kareena even revealed the same and said, “Sonam kept banging into us all the time. Her hands and legs are so long. I was like, ‘Arre year!’ as we were always getting pushed out of the frame.”

‘Veere Di Wedding’ is slated to release on June 1, 2018. The film will lock horns with Harshvardhan Kapoor starrer ‘Bhavesh Joshi Superhero’ at the box office.

Recently Ekta Kapoor along with nephew Laksshya Kapoor promoted the film in a cute way. Ekta had posted a photo with Laksshya in which the two were seen sporting t-shirts with text that read #ImNotaChickFlick. Now Sidharth Malhotra has also promoted the film by wearing a t-shirt with the hashtag #ImNotaChickFlick. Rhea Kapoor who is also the producer the movie shared the picture of Sidharth on her Instagram story.

‘Veere Di Wedding’ is slated to release on June 1, 2018. The film will clash with Harshvardhan Kapoor starrer ‘Bhavesh Joshi Superhero’. However recently there was news that the makers are trying to avoid the clash between both the films. However official announcements are yet to be made.

‘Veere Di Wedding’ starring Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhaskar and Shikha Talsania is one of the most anticipated films of this year. With an ensemble of an all-female cast, the movie seems to be everyone’s watchlist. Known for his famous stint on the digital platform, Sumeet Vyas already has an immense popularity owing to his shows on the internet. As per reports in a daily, a source revealed that when the casting was underway, the production team was considering several other names for the role, but Rhea, who is the one of the co-producers of the movie, strongly recommended Sumeet.

The source further added that she wanted an actor who had never worked with Kareena before and since she had seen Sumeet’s acting prowess on the digital platform, she was quite impressed. Thus, it was Rhea who wanted him on board and so, she stuck with her decision.
